Technology Conference 2024 on High-Quality "Zero-Carbon Photovoltaic" Development Successfully Held in Shaoguan

This meeting was chaired by Mr. Zheng Lixin, the general manager of Mingyang Photovoltaic General Management Center. Mr. Zheng introduced the overview of the photovoltaic industry at the meeting. In recent years, based on the strategic carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and the support of national development policies, the photovoltaic sectors, as the core force in the field of clean energy, have constantly promoted new energy innovation and green low-carbon development of enterprises.

Taking the advantage of development opportunity and making constant progress, the photovoltaic sectors bear the important mission of promoting the energy restructuring and reducing carbon emissions, focusing on key core technologies, accelerating the growth of new energy advantages. The transformation and development in the industry was discussed at the meeting.

Since digital intelligent upgrading has become the inevitable choice to release the industry and achieve high-quality development, it is essential to develop new productive forces in photovoltaic power generation which is an important part of the new energy transformation and upgrading. There is huge potential for photovoltaic power development in Shaoguan, so, in order to fully promote the development of the photovoltaic power industry, Municipal Development and Reform Bureau of Shaoguan   will focus on providing enterprises with guarantee of services along the whole supply chain, carrying out technical exchanges and cooperation in a wider range, and based on policy support, making every effort to fuel development and prosperity of photovoltaic power industry.

To develop green photovoltaic industry, we need to establish a system and mechanism for low-carbon and zero-carbon development, and gather various innovative elements including talents, information and resources in the field of carbon neutrality. Shaoguan Energy Association will, by promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and empowering enterprises to transform and develop energy, drive Shaoguan to build zero-carbon industry cluster and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality technology demonstration base, and fuel high-quality development of the economy in Shaoguan.

At the exchange meeting, Mingyang Photovoltaic focused on three themes - the "HJT bifacial rate module application scenarios", "photovoltaic technology road map and product innovation", and "application of perovskite technology and BIPV technology", emphasizing the interpretation of hard power in photovoltaic products.

Mingyang Photovoltaic product families have been widely used in large-scale centralized power stations, offshore floating photovoltaic power station, integrated application of photovoltaic technologies, distributed rooftop photovoltaic power generation and other applications, and based on customer's demands for high technology at low cost, Mingyang HJT modules in the same area of application have the installed capacity increased by more than 7%, thus achieving the same installed capacity on fewer area of land and at lower BOS cost.

Mingyang Photovoltaic always adhere to the technology-driven cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and continuously leads the technical innovation of N-type high-efficiency photovoltaic products. An industry-leading 30-year linear power warranty is provided for Mingyang high-efficiency HJT modules. In accordance with the national policy and relying on the guarantee of product strength, Mingyang HJT module efficiency exceeds 23.7%, so 15-year process quality assurance and 30-year linear power warranty are provided.

In perovskite and lamination technology, Mingyang has set up a high-efficiency perovskite-based solar cell experiment center, including a complete equipment system covering cells, modules, preparation and testing, and obtained a certificate for "third-party certified conversion efficiency up to 25.11%". BIPV photovoltaic building integration technology can realize color and pattern customization, and has been widely used in double-glass, triple-glass, laminated hollow and double-laminated hollow structures.
