On March 6, the 10th Solar Cell Paste and Metallization Technology Forum, hosted by Asian Chemical Consulting, was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The forum focused on the future development of the photovoltaic industry and the prospect of metallization market, and discussed in depth the latest developments of HJT, TOPCon and XBC cell technologies and metallization processes. Industry leaders, leading enterprises and supply chain companies gathered together to contribute to the development of solar cell technology.
As a new generation of heterojunction photovoltaic products leader, Ming Yang Solar was invited to participate in this forum. Zeng Xinlin, Deputy Director of Product Management Center, attended the forum and made a report titled "Progress of Metallization Route of Heterojunction Battery of Ming Yang Solar", sharing the key path selection and innovation breakthroughs of Ming Yangv's heterojunction battery metallization and cost reduction.
The report points out that the decline of metallization cost and the choice of metallization route largely influence the development of future battery technology route. The low-silverization of heterojunction batteries is being rapidly realized through SMBB and 0BB as well as silver-clad copper and other technologies, which will strongly support and expand the current heterojunction industry's capacity layout of tens of GW.
Silver-free heterojunction has entered the scale-up start-up phase, and mass production of 500MW or more will start in 2024, and multiple GW production lines will appear in 2025, promoting heterojunction batteries to enter the 100GW market scale.
Through the report sharing in this forum, Sunnyvolt has demonstrated to the outside world its technical R&D strength and mass production potential in the field of heterogeneous junction battery cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, providing valuable data and experience sharing for the industry's cost reduction route.
In the future, Ming Yang Solar will firmly lead the technology, accelerate the promotion of large-scale and low-cost mass production of heterojunction, empower the high-quality development of the industry through scientific and technological innovation, and promote the technological upgrading of the photovoltaic industry.
