On the afternoon of November 3rd, at the "Heterojunction Solar Cell Technology" sub-forum, Dr. Luo Qian, the dean of Mingyang PV Technology Research Institute, delivered a speech titled "New Metalization Route for Mingyang Heterojunction", focusing on the metalization technology route of heterojunction batteries, and shared the silver-grid metallization progress and copper-grid metallization scheme of Mingyang heterojunction batteries and their breakthrough points.
At the end of the speech, he envisioned that the low-silverization of heterojunctions is rapidly being realized through component technologies such as SMBB and 0BB, strongly supporting and expanding the current tens of GW capacity layout of the heterojunction industry.
Zeng Xinlin, Vice Director of Mingyang PV Product Management Center, delivered a speech titled "Manufacturing Progress of Mingyang Heterojunction Technology". Currently, the average efficiency of heterojunction solar cells produced by Mingyang Yancheng Heterojunction Battery Factory is stable at over 25.6%, and the mass production yield is stable at over 98%. The daily capacity of solar cells is more than 600,000 half cells. Through the breakthrough of key technologies, a series of achievements have been made in cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
He stated that compared to other cells, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the surface states of the silicon substrate of heterojunction cells. In the future research and development process, the combination of light conversion films and heterojunction can not only improve UV attenuation, but also increase module power.
