On January 10, Mingyang 5GW high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic cell Phase-I project and 2GW high-efficiency heterojunction component project were put into production respectively in Yancheng and Shaoguan, marking that Mingyang has become the first domestic new energy technology company with the largest production capacity of high-efficiency heterojunction photovoltaic products.
Mingyang 5GW heterojunction photovoltaic cell project and 2GW high-efficiency heterojunction component project are respectively located in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province and Shaoguan, Guangdong Province. Heterojunction cell subverts the traditional cell structure, has the advantages of high conversion efficiency, simple manufacturing process, thin silicon wafer application, low temperature coefficient, no light attenuation and potential attenuation, and double-sided power generation, while the advantages of heterojunction components in the conversion efficiency are greatly superior to other traditional processes, and the average conversion efficiency is expected to exceed 25%.
Mingyang intelligent production equipment are produced by domestic first-class manufacturers, achieving the localization of the whole line of equipment, completely covering the four processes in heterojunction cell production. The large-wafer, thin-wafer, and half-wafer manufacturing process, combined with the innovative i-in-p PECVD process route, and integrating the whole-line MES intelligent system, has further improve the conversion efficiency, yield, and productivity of solar cells while reducing production costs.
