Tortoise offshore photovoltaic modules are developed with new-type composite frame material, which has excellent mechanical properties resistant to corrosion, sea wind and wave impact. Double-glass design plus side seals of butyl rubber ensures good water resistance. These modules are designed with border-less hydrophilic glass, free of accumulation of water and dust, easy to clean, sturdy and durable, suitable for the offshore environments, resistant to erosion by sea wind and corrosion by salt spray, operating stably even in the complicated and changing offshore environments, perfectly meeting the demands of offshore station construction.

The Tortoise, standing in pride for circles of life

In the ancient flood, a mysterious creature, wearing a hard shell, strong as iron, perched around rivers, lakes and seas, unique in appearance, seemingly a combination of turtle and snake, so named as Tortoise. It combines two forms - turtle symbolizing longevity and stability, and snake signifying flexibility and intelligence, so presenting the divine power in their inherent nature, acting in charge of the waters, resisting wind and waves with its unique calm and perseverance, and keeping things in peace. Offshore photovoltaic modules are set up on the sea like the Tortoise, standing proudly in the windy and cloudy sea, expanding photovoltaic power generation from lands to seas. The advantages - open and shade-free areas of sea and long sunshine duration under the same sunlight condition - make the offshore photovoltaic module more efficient in light utilization, while strong sea wind improves the efficiency of wind power generation in collaboration with and in addition to the photovoltaic power generation. Offshore photovoltaic power generation is developed at relatively low sea utilization cost, has no effect on agricultural lands and ecological environment, and so is superior in sustainability.
